Qualification:

B.Sc. /B Tech in Biotechnology/Agriculture/Biosciences with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.

M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/ Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Genetics (crop plants)/ Biotechnology (crop plants) with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks

NET/SLET-LS/GATE/other National level tests conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies.

Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.

Note-2: Net qualified candidates may be recruited as JRF @31000/- pm +16% HRA and candidate without NET may be recruited as Project Assoicate-I @ 25000 /-pm + 16% HRA.

Note-3: Desirable qualification: Experience/ Research work in relevant field.
