This review article talks about certain measures that can be affected to bring out reforms in ag marketing so as to ensure fair price for the farming community, how farmers can involve in direct marketing, significance of creating a market information system to help problem solving and decision making, influence of foreign direct investment in Indian economy hence concluding that bringing necessary reforms coupled with proper price discovery mechanism through regulated market system will help streamline and strengthen agricultural marketing.
